Vladimir Putin: Russian military operation in Ukraine to ensure security of citizens in Donetsk and Lugansk will continue
Euro international News :Russian President Vladimir Putin, while denouncing “Western divisiveness,” has threatened to strike a “lightning strike” at any party that intervenes during Russia’s war with Ukraine.

“Efforts to stifle Russia’s economy have failed miserably,” he said, referring to Western sanctions against Moscow following the invasion of Ukraine.
Emphasizing Russia’s ability to overcome all difficulties, Putin added that the West is trying to turn Ukraine into a vicious enemy of Russia, which faces unprecedented strategic threats.
Hope for negotiations with Ukraine
“Despite the ongoing military operation, we still hope to reach a positive outcome to the talks,” Putin said during a meeting with Guterres in Moscow on Tuesday, according to AFP.
Sitting at a high table in front of the Kremlin in front of his gutter, Putin said efforts to negotiate with Ukraine had been hampered by accusations that Kiev had accused the Russian military of carrying out a massacre in the town of Bucha near Kiev.
“A provocative act took place in the village of Bucha, which has nothing to do with the Russian army,” he continued. “We know who is behind this incident and with what tools and by what kind of people it was done.”
Putin told Guterres he was aware of his concerns about Russia’s military operation in Ukraine and was ready to talk about them, but blamed ongoing tensions in Ukraine for the “anti-government coup” that toppled the pro-Russian president in 2014.
