Popular pop singer Justin Bieber today explained the reason for canceling his Justice World tour to his fans by releasing a video.
In a video posted on Bieber’s page; He stated that he had Ramsey Hunt Syndrome:
I want to talk to you about my situation. As you can see, I have Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. It is a type of virus that attacks the nerves in my ears and face and causes half of my face to be paralyzed.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsey Hunt Syndrome occurs when the varicella zoster virus attacks the nerves of the face near the ear. Complications of this syndrome include painful pimples and facial paralysis, as well as hearing loss. The disease is caused by the same chickenpox virus.
Bieber also spoke about his physical problems in a video he released:
As you can see, I can not blink with this eye and I can not laugh with this side of my face. This side of my nose does not move and half of my face is completely paralyzed.
I must say to those who are tired of the cancellation of my concerts that I will not be able to perform and this issue is very serious and I hope it will be resolved.
I will feel better and I will try to do more exercises with my face to be like the first day. I just need time and I do not know how long it will take but I will get better. I trust in God and I know he helps me. All of this has wisdom and I do not know what its wisdom is.
I must rest. I love you.
