It will be some time before we see Lady Gaga’s First Look in Joker 2.
The director of Joker 2 (also known as Joker: Folie à Deux) has ruled out the possibility of seeing Lady Gaga in action any time soon.
After director Todd Phillips posted a picture of Joaquin Phoenix on the set, there was conjecture over the weekend over the potential release of a sneak glimpse at Gaga’s Dr. Harleen Quinzel.
Because she hasn’t begun filming yet and won’t for several more weeks, fans will, unfortunately, have to wait longer to see Gaga.
When a Gaga fan account on Instagram requested another sneak look, Phillips verified it, stating: “Receiving a lot of these requests in my direct messages. also on this. Regrettably, LG won’t begin working with us until after the new year. Thus, it will be a little.”
The plot of Joker: Folie à Deux remains unknown, despite Phillips’s revelation that it will be a macabre musical for the Clown Prince of Crime and the future Harley Quinn.
It “makes sense,” according to Zazie Beetz, who returns as Arthur Fleck’s (Joker’s) next-door neighbor Sophie Dumond from the previous movie.
Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn in the World of DC, has given her OK for Lady Gaga to play the coveted role in Joker 2, which is set in its own corner of the Multiverse.
