The crisis between Colombian singer Shakira and her ex-husband Gerard Pique has seen a new chapter after she threatened to expose the Barcelona defender’s secrets.
In order to gain custody of her two children, Shakira first threatened Pique to reveal her secrets.
“Shakira threatened Pique to reveal all the secrets,” Catalan newspaper El Nacional reported on Tuesday.
The newspaper added: “While empowering Shakira to gain custody of the children, who plans to leave Spain and move to Miami, these secrets will also harm Pique.”
This newspaper pointed out: “A mother who wants to move her children away from their hometown with the intention of emigrating, cannot get custody of the children from the judge, that’s why Shakira is preparing all her documents to attack Pique.”
Shakira’s lawyers are trying to reach an agreement with Pike to prevent him from going to court. This newspaper says: At the same time, Shakira threatened to weaken Pike’s position by revealing his secrets.
The Catalan newspaper concluded: “Pique will face a tough enemy in the name of Shakira, who knows all his weaknesses above all else. For this reason, it is not possible to predict the winner of this war.”
The two parties declared the custody of their two children, which is the result of their 12-year relationship, to be the subject of the conflict.
In a joint statement at the beginning of June, the two sides confirmed the news of the separation and said: “It is with great regret that we inform you that we have separated for the safety of our children and they are our first priority. You respect our privacy.”
