Scientists have named one of the 17 new species of millipede discovered in the Appalachian Mountains after Taylor Swift, a popular American singer and songwriter.
According to scientists, these millipedes belong to a group of small millipedes called Nannaria that are distributed in eastern North America.
Scientists at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Virginia State University in the United States say that these millipedes are usually oak-black to brown with a pattern of two parts from orange to red or white spots.
