Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has given the people of Ukraine the good news of victory over Russia.
The President of Ukraine announced in a speech on Tuesday, March 15 that his country’s forces will defeat Russia.
In the speech, Mr Zelensky told Russian troops that they had “a chance to survive” if they surrendered.
“The enemy is confused and did not expect tough resistance,” the Ukrainian president said this morning. “Russian soldiers know this,” Zelensky added. Their officers are aware of this. They flee the battlefield. “They are abandoning the equipment.”
Fox News reports that the Ukrainian president addressed the Russian troops and asked them to surrender. He also praised those who have protested against the Putin government in Russia.
