Amber Heard’s bankruptcy declaration after her conviction in the court of her dispute with Johnny Depp and a fine of 8.35 million dollars did not go anywhere and she auctioned her house in California to cover the amount of the fine.
It is believed that Amber Heard has sold her three-bedroom house with an area of 227 square meters in order to prepare the compensation that she is sentenced to pay due to the failure of the lawsuit filed by Johnny Depp.
About two months after Johnny Depp won in the Virginia court, and Amber Heard was sentenced to pay a fine of 8.35 million dollars, the Hollywood actor sold a property in California.
According to the New York Post, Carol Janet Jorgensen and Rickard Jorgensen bought this 227 square meter property in California from Amber Heard. In 2019, Heard paid $570,000 for the purchase of this house.
In the Virginia court, Amber Heard was sentenced to pay 10.35 million dollars and Johnny Depp 2 million dollars by the jury of this court for publishing an article in “Washington Post”.
According to published court documents, Heard has earned “tens of millions of dollars” since her split from Depp.
Prior to this separation, Heard received a portion of the income from Johnny Depp’s role in the fifth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
According to Heard’s lawyer Eileen Bredhoft, due to the failure of the court, there is a possibility that the actor will be removed from the second series of “Aquaman” and under these conditions, Heard is “in no way” able to pay the compensation of 10.35 million dollars. Even Amber Heard testified in the court that Depp’s lawsuit reduced her role and there is a possibility that Heard will not appear in the final cut of the film.
