Apple’s smart watch saved the life of a 42-year-old American woman who was buried alive by her husband.
According to imore website, this woman, who lives in Seattle, America, was suddenly attacked by her husband while she was arguing with her husband about separating from him and preparing for divorce proceedings.
According to the report, the woman used her Apple Watch to call 911 to ask the police for help, but when her husband found out, he smashed her watch with a hammer and dragged her to the garage to bury her.
However, the security officer who answered the woman’s call could hear her screaming for help.
Police forces were able to identify the woman’s location and rescue her.
According to court documents, the woman’s 53-year-old husband, identified as Chae Kyung Ahn, is facing multiple charges, most notably attempted first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree assault.
