Bill Gates is not a Geek of Web3
Bill Gates did not appear to be persuaded by the significance of Web3 and the metaverse during a live Ask Me Anything session. The technique is not “revolutionary,” as he put it. He said, “AI is the big one,” in answer to a Redditor’s query on what modern technology had the ability to do what the internet accomplished in 2000. Although AI is pretty revolutionary, I don’t think Web3 was all that significant or that the metaverse alone was revolutionary.
In addition to answering concerns about technology, he also addressed issues like climate change and vegetarianism. He kept saying that AI was the most promising area for technical breakthroughs to date.
