Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered more than 8 million euros in financial losses due to former US President Donald Trump.
According to the Spanish newspaper Expansion, in November 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo was forced to sell his luxurious apartment in the Trump Tower, which belongs to the former US President, for 6.34 million euros.
The newspaper wrote that Ronaldo bought his apartment in 2015 for 16.5 million euros and lost more than 8 million euros by selling it.
According to the report, the Manchester United star has been trying to sell the apartment since 2019, after calls from his fans to sell it due to Trump’s actions during his presidency.
The Trump Tower is located in the Manhattan neighborhood of New York City and is one of the most important skyscrapers in the country. The tower consists of 58 floors and its height is 262 meters.
