Russian troops enter the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv
Local officials in Kharkov, Ukraine’s second largest city, say Russian troops have entered the city.
Russian light military vehicles have “infiltrated the city”, said Oleg Singobov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration.
Prior to his remarks, images had been released showing some Russian military vehicles moving through the northeastern streets of Khazkof.
Mr Singobov has urged residents to stay indoors, saying Russian forces are apparently in the city center.
He urged people not to “leave the shelters and take to the streets and the Ukrainian armed forces are destroying the enemy.”
