Ukraine’s internal security service has blamed Russia for the intelligence war, stressing that Zelensky is in Kiev. This is a response to a letter from Russian Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin claiming that the Ukrainian president has left the country. “This is wrong,” said Ukraine’s Internal Security Service. The president is with his people. “He did not flee Kiev.”
The day before, Ukraine’s secret services had warned that Moscow was seeking false reports of Zelensky’s alleged escape.
Volodymyr Zelinsky has spoken twice in video clips in the past eight days, and held a press conference in Kiev on Thursday, March 3rd.
The London-based Times reported that Zelensky had survived three assassination attempts in recent days.
