Roger Pearce, a journalist working for the English channel ITV Sport, has died while covering the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

According to Marca’s report, 65-year-old Roger Pearce died before the Wales-USA match, but the news of his death was announced on Tuesday (December 22).
Pearce, who died on November 21 shortly before the start of the USA v Wales Group B opener, was the technical director of ITV Sport.
Thus, Pearce is the third journalist to die while covering the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Earlier, Khalid Al-Muslam, a photographer-journalist for Qatar’s “Alkas” TV, died suddenly while covering the news of the 2022 World Cup.

Earlier, Grant Wall, a 48-year-old American reporter, died of a heart attack at Lucille Stadium while covering the match between Argentina and the Netherlands in the World Cup.
