Polish superstar Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he will not renew his contract with Bayern Munich and is looking to continue working at a new club.
Earlier, the sporting director of Bayern Munich confirmed that the Polish striker of the team will leave the Alliance Arena in the summer.
“Yes, Lewandowski has informed us that he will not accept the offer to extend his contract and will leave the club,” said Hassan Saleh Hamidzic, Bayern Munich’s sporting director, referring to Lewandowski’s future at the club. He said he wants to experience a different challenge; “But Loa has a contract with us until June 30, 2023, and that is a fact.”
The Polish international has long been rumored to want to leave the Allianz Arena this summer after another domestic league title with Bayern.
Lewandowski told Sky: “I can confirm that I spoke to Hassan Saleh Hamidzic and informed him that a decision has been made … and that I will not renew my contract with Bayern.
