- Local media pictured the impounded vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce and an Aston Martin.
- Tate and his brother were arrested on December 29 on allegations of sex trafficking.
An insider verified to Insider that authorities in Romania seized 11 automobiles from Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan after they were arrested. The automobiles were seized following their arrest on December 29 on charges of human trafficking and abusing women to generate porn.
On Wednesday, Ramona Bolla, a spokesman for Romania’s DIICOT investigative agency, confirmed the automobile seizures to Insider.
She stated that they were being detained to “sustain the expense of the investigation” against Tate, as well as to serve as collateral for any reparations awarded to their claimed victims.
Bolla was unable to confirm the makes and models of the vehicles immediately. However, the Romanian news site Gândul released images of the impounded vehicles.
A Rolls-Royce Wraith from the company’s Black Badge line and an Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate were among them. According to TopGear.com, a Wraith costs at least $300,000, while a Vanquish S costs roughly $250,000.
The Rolls-Royce Tate seems to have purchased on a whim when walking through London a few months ago.
Bolla stated that DIICOT was investigating whether the Tates purchased the automobiles through human trafficking.
