The Times of India reported that a liquor vendor has complained that an alcoholic monkey has been stealing liquor bottles from his shop and other liquor stores and becomes aggressive if he is not allowed to drink his liquor.
This monkey has become a celebrity in the city due to his alcoholism and in a video that was published on social networks, this animal is seen opening a bottle of alcohol and drinking large amounts of it in front of people.
A local official says they are trying to catch the monkey with the help of the Forest Resources Department.
