The movie debuted to raving reviews and has since garnered praise for both its outstanding visual effects and storytelling. Avatar 2 outperforms movies like “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with an opening weekend gross of Rs 41 crore INR. It merely lags behind the 2019 box office sensation “Avengers: Endgame,” though.

The Indian box office for Avatar: The Way of Water has gotten off to an explosive start. According to Box Office India, the South Indian markets of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka were largely responsible for the success of Avatar 2. They earned Rs 22 crore in total.
“Despite the decline in Nizam/Andhra, the movie is doing extremely well in this region and will soon surpass Avenger Endgame’s numbers to become the highest-grossing non-South film in the region. On Saturday, there was a noticeable increase in the Hindi circuits, which can increase by 20–25%.
“The Hindi circuits will perform better than the South on the second day, which is more typical, but the gap still needs to be wider.
Larger circuits like Mumbai and North India have a strong 25% growth, but growth on Sunday will be reliant on the mass circuits.
