Peter Brandt’s Joke on Elon Musk
Peter Brandt, a seasoned commodities trader, criticized controversial billionaire Elon Musk for failing to address the spam bot issue on Twitter, calling his response “a total joke” and “a farce.”
Bots are everywhere in Brandt’s answers, promoting links to phony giveaway schemes meant to dupe people into handing over their cryptocurrency. Following his takeover, Musk made a commitment to address the problem after he himself raised it on several occasions. The community of bitcoin users hasn’t actually observed a decline in spam bots, though. Musk was recently “thanked” by the fictitious trader DonAlt for rendering Twitter comments utterly useless owing to scam bots.
Last Week Musk Announced
that will resolve the issue by blocking IP addresses connected to numerous individuals operating sizable bot factories.
Despite this, as spam bots are consistently flooding popular tweets from well-known crypto celebrities, there had been little progress. The self-described free speech absolutist is too busy spreading far-right propaganda and suspending users he doesn’t like to deal with the spam bot problem properly. At one point, the @ElonJet account had more than 500,000 followers. The Dogecoin enthusiast lost his title as the richest person in the world after Bernard Arnault, the head of French fashion overtook him.
